Current Topics in Biochemistry (CurTo 2018) was a symposium that aimed not only to discuss cutting-edge topics in biochemistry, but also integrate investigators and students from all the research lines within UFSC Department of Biochemistry and Postgraduate Program in Biochemistry. The main focus was to promote integration through organizing a scientific event that would offer the opportunity to know our colleges inside the institution, while sharing the latest works and ideas with the academic community.
